How the math works

Concentration = vial mass (mg) ÷ diluent volume (mL). A U-100 insulin syringe holds 100 units = 1 mL, so 1 unit = 0.01 mL. Divide your dose (in mcg) by the concentration (in mcg/mL) to get the volume to draw.
